Abstract

The situation of women employment in formal organizations has caused two-many problems in most families in Nigeria.  Nowadays, many married women work in the bank as bank workers and even occupied higher positions. When some of these married women bank workers go on employing house helps and nannies as to help them overcome the problem of role conflicts, yet none of those problems are actually solved but rather create more problems in the family. The number of married women in the work force, especially in the bank industries has continued to increase and is imperative despite its alarming problems for years, especially in developing countries like Nigeria. This increase is related to a number of factors, which include un- predictive increase in the number of educated women graduates and opportunities for earning income outside home. When mothers are engaged in paid employment like banks, the incidence of role conflicts, influence on mothers’ health, socio-cultural and psychological factors cannot be over emphasized. These have implications on family health and wellbeing management
